Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Representative to join our team in Goleta, California. In this role, you will manage payroll operations for a large workforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all processes. This is a long-term contract position offering an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee bi-weekly payroll processes for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

• Coordinate payroll activities across multiple states, adhering to applicable regulations and compliance standards.

• Utilize payroll systems such as Workday and UKG Pro to manage employee records and payroll data.

• Implement and maintain Kronos timekeeping systems to track employee hours and attendance.

• Prepare detailed payroll reports and conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy.

• Address and resolve payroll discrepancies or employee inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Collaborate with internal teams to align payroll processes with organizational policies.

• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive payroll information at all times.

• Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize payroll operations. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in full-cycle payroll processing.

• Proficiency in handling multi-state payroll operations.

• Previous experience managing payroll for over 500 employees.

• Strong knowledge of payroll systems such as Workday and UKG Pro.

• Familiarity with Kronos timekeeping system.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
