Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team in Compton, California. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality assurance processes by ensuring materials and samples meet required specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining accurate records while supporting the laboratory's daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct tests and inspections on raw material samples to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

• Organize and maintain raw material and film samples for all incoming shipments.

• Identify and report any non-conforming materials to the appropriate personnel.

• Perform testing and inspection of film samples received in the laboratory and document findings.

• Maintain accurate and thorough records of testing, including relevant documentation such as purchase orders and bills of lading.

• Receive, document, and properly store seals from Material Handlers, ensuring all traceability requirements are met.

• Clean and perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment to ensure functionality.

• Archive and manage traceability documents for easy retrieval.

• Assist in analyzing samples related to customer complaints and provide detailed evaluations.

• Support additional tasks as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager or other team leads. Requirements • Previous experience in a laboratory or related role is preferred but not required.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to handle inbound and outbound calls professionally.

• Experience with data entry and email correspondence.

• Ability to schedule and manage appointments effectively.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
