    Job Description:

    UNIT COORDINATOR - 32 hr/wk, M-F 8:30 am - 5pm

     

    The Oncology Unit Coordinator is an active member of the outpatient clinical team, who demonstrates strong clerical duties, the ability to prioritize, courtesy with communications in person and on the phone, and who demonstrates professional accountability. The Unit Coordinator will work amongst a close-knit team of administrative and clinical professionals.

     

    **Job responsibilities include** :

    + greeting patients

    + answering phones

    + scheduling appointments

    + insurance prior authorizations and scanning sensitive documents.

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent is required.

    + Previous experience in a healthcare setting highly desired.

    Pay Range:

    $19.50 - $26.24

     

    The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
