I2X Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Highlands Ranch, CO .This position will be *on-site*.

+ Perform defect resolution for software areas including Flight, DAC, EGSE, Simulation, Data Service, Data Tools, Ground Tools, and SOCRRATES software

+ Perform sustainment, referring to the correction of code errors or defects found after verificaiton is complete, and incliudes software direct fix.

+ Defect investigation and software product upgrades for a spacecraft (may encompass artifacts developed in System Engineering, Production, or Test & Verification tasks)

+ Update JIRA defect status as necessary, tracking through closure

+ Update documentation as needed, according to defect fix software updates

+ Display format observations (FOBS) and associated operational enhancements

+ Continued maintenance and code correction errors throughout the use of the software on the spacecraft in test and flight

+ Produce monthly reporting of all status items

Qualifications

+ Bachelors degree in a related field and 2+ years of professional, related experience

+ Extensive experience in C+

+ + Experience with network protocols (RUC/RF)

+ Experience troubleshooting software

+ Experience in multi-threaded application

+ Experience with Linux development environment

+ Experience with containers

+ Experience with full software development lifecycle

+ Experience in Python

+ Experience with emulator integration/troubleshooting

+ Experience with QEMU

The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
