Virtual Medication History Technician (Hybrid)
Saint Luke's Health System seeks a detail-oriented Virtual Medication History Technician to join our innovative Pharmacy Tech Team. This hybrid role involves collecting and verifying accurate patient medication histories using telemedicine and virtual communication, helping to ensure patient safety and effective care.
What you'll do:
+ Interview patients and their families via our virtual platform to gather comprehensive medication details, including over-the-counter drugs and supplements.
+ Collaborate with pharmacists to review and address any issues or questions that arise during the medication history process.
+ Access and utilize external resources, such as outpatient pharmacy records and physician offices, to ensure accuracy.
+ Serve as a first point of contact for newly admitted patients to Saint Luke's Health System.
+ Input verified medication histories, allergies, and adverse drug reactions into the electronic medical record (EMR).
What we're looking for:
+ Excellent communication and listening skills for effective patient and healthcare professional interaction.
+ Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative.
+ Proficiency in or ability to learn our EMR and virtual communication platforms.
+ A commitment to obtain Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification within the first year of employment.
Schedule & Location:
+ **Hours:** Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Weekends, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
+ **Hybrid Role:** Work 1–2 days per week in the office.

Cert Pharmacy Tech from PTCB - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board, Pharmacy Technician (KS) - Kansas Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician (MO) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
