• Bus Driver - Full Time

    South Glens Falls Central School District (South Glens Falls, NY)


    Anticipated Vacancies:

    The District has a vacancy for a Full-Time School Bus Driver (8-Hour) in the Transportation Department.

    General Duties:

    + Drive a school vehicle over assigned routes.

    + Supervise students’ behavior, loading and unloading of the school bus.

    + Wash outside front and rear of bus as necessary and sweep interior.

    + Follow all New York State Motor Vehicle and Department of Transportation Laws, State Education and local school district rules and regulations.

    + Other duties as assigned by the Transportation Supervisor and the Superintendent or designee.

    Salary & Benefits:

    + 12-Month Position, 8 Hours/Day; Starting at $36,720 annually. Actual salary commensurate with experience.

    Job Qualifications

    Required Knowledge, Abilities, and Qualifications:

    + Have or obtain a New York State Commercial Driver's License under DMV Article 19A

    + Good driving record

    + Pass State Education and School physicals

    + Must attend all classes of instruction required by New York State Education Department.

    + Must be at least 21 years of age.
