    Welcome to Albany Medical Center, providing excellent care to our community each day. We have an exciting opportunity for health care employees or entry level candidates looking to join our Front Office team as an Administrative Support Associate.

     

    An ideal candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, both independently and on a team. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) Monday – Friday during normal business hours of 8:00AM-4:30PM. This is an onsite position at 220 Washington Avenue Extension

    Primary Job Responsibilities:

    • Sort through faxes and distribute to bins in medical assistant office

    • Pick Up outgoing paperwork from bins throughout the office (MA area, provider offices, and nodes)

    • Sort Through papers to be scanned

    • Scan records into charts

    • Run mail through mail machine and put out for mail carrier

    • Answer calls that come into the department

    • Work with HIS regarding medical records requests

    Requirements:

    All candidates must be fully vaccinated for COVID to be considered.

    Education

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.

    Experience:

    • No experience required.

    • Excellent customer service skills preferred

    • Experience using an electronic health record and Microsoft Office a plus!
