    Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a WFMx Utility Operator – 2nd Shift (Monday – Thursday, 2:30pm – 1:00am). Overtime is available as needed. R esponsible for producing Vishay products that meet and exceed quality and customer expectations.

    Job Location:

    Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE. We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.

    Job Summary:

    Operate a minimum of 8 critical line operations (Cleaning of parts in WMFx. Cutting material, test and bin material building press trays, building the lampress machine for order fill material) and additional jobs in Plant 6. Willingness to train new associates.

    What you will be doing:

    + Operator 8 critical lines of operation

    + Organize, and move orders as specified from staging areas to next operation or Quality Control Inspector

    + Performs and completes SPC charts and pull sample tests as required.

    + Visually inspect product in process

    + Fill out paperwork on production tickets and enter to prod info system.

    What you will bring along:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + 6 months – 3 years’ experience

    + Ability to read, write and perform arithmetic calculations

    + Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to all aspects of each operation

    + This includes making sure product meets all quality specifications and packing requirements

    + Initial hazardous waste management procedures (RCRA) training within six months of the appointment of position dealing with hazardous waste and subsequent annual refresher thereafter

    + Initial emergency contingency plan implementation training within six months of the appointment of position dealing with hazardous waste and subsequent annual refresher thereafter.
