    Would you like to be a member of our $150M+ Global Industrial Steam Turbine Service Business?

     

    As a Regional Parts Specialist, you will be responsible for developing proposals/bids within your Region improving competitiveness in the Market to sustain and grow our Service Business. Experience and strengthen our empowerment, collaboration and ownership culture.

     

    You would be part of our SE TI STG GSO PTS (Siemens Energy Transformation of Industry Steam Turbines and Generators) Organization, reporting to the Global Service Operations Parts International Head for our Steam America Business.

    How you Make An Impact

    + Prepare and deliver proposals and formal bids in line with pricing guidelines, ensuring timely responses to meet client expectations.

    + Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to create innovative solutions and initiate activities by entering orders into the ERP System.

    + Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with clients to secure business opportunities while utilizing Sales Force (CRM Tool) to pursue sales leads.

    + Foster client satisfaction through relationship-building, collaborative selling, and prompt issue resolution, escalating when necessary.

    + Leverage tactical and strategic tools to optimize order intake and profitability, while supporting regional forecasting and business improvement initiatives.

    + Provide pricing, lead time, and inventory recommendations to the Regional Parts Manager based on market feedback and assist with various tasks to enhance the Marketing and Sales Department’s effectiveness.

    What You Bring

    + Associate's degree in business or technical field, or High School Diploma/GED and appropriate technical experience (such as reading drawings, looking at manuals and viewing specifications).

    + Experience with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)

    + Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills in the English language

    + Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints to meet deadlines while being detail-oriented

    + Willingness to travel up to 15% domestic and international to customer sites.

    Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

    + Bachelor’s degree in business or related curriculum

    + A minimum of 2+ years of experience in parts operations, marketing & sales and/or customer service or equivalent field. Those with more experience may be considered for a more senior level.

    + Ability to read and interpret drawings and bills of materials

    + Experience with Oracle and/or SAP

    + Fluent in a second language

    + Working knowledge and understanding of Siemens/Dresser-Rand’s Oil & Gas products, services and equipment or Steam Turbines, Trenton Legacy Products and/or Gimpel Valves

     

    Applicants must be legally

    authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or

    This job may be based in New York. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay. Details regarding our benefits can be found here: https://benefitsatenergy.com/thinking-of-joining.html . The base salary range for this position if based in New York is $70,000-$131,000.

     

    Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
