MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As an Enterprise Applications Delivery Architect, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the customer’s mission. You will play a crucial role in ensuring enterprise application delivery services are functioning properly and securely.
+ Develop and design Application Delivery Network solutions to ensure efficient application delivery and performance.
+ Create architecture blueprints and detailed technical designs for Application Delivery Network infrastructure.
+ Evaluate and recommend network optimization and application acceleration techniques.
+ Lead the deployment and configuration of application delivery controllers (ADCs).
+ Manage and maintain Application Delivery Network infrastructure ensuring high availability, high performance, reliability, and scalability.
+ Implement load balancing, caching, compression, and other techniques to improve application performance.
+ Implement and enforce security policies and procedures for Application Delivery Network systems.
+ Conduct regular security assessments and audits of the Application Delivery Network infrastructure.
+ Ensure the Application Delivery Network environment complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
+ Monitor network and application performance to ensure optimal operation.
+ Use advanced tools and analytics to diagnose and resolve issues related to application delivery.
+ Provide advanced technical support to resolve Application Delivery Network -related problems.
+ Lead ADN-related projects, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
+ Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
+ Prepare project documentation, including design specs, implementation plans, and status reports.
+ Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for Application Delivery Network infrastructure.
+ Test and update these plans regularly to ensure effectiveness.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The I Enterprise Applications Delivery Architect must have:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Experience may be substituted for education.
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in application delivery and network engineering.
+ Extensive knowledge of ADN technologies.
+ Strong understanding of networking protocols, load balancing, and security best practices.
+ Relevant certifications (e.g., F5 Certified, Citrix Certified, etc.) are preferred.

The likely salary range for this position is $170,000 - $230,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
