Seeking a Warehouse Clerk in the Muscatine Area!!

Job Description

This position involves providing excellent customer service by communicating with truckers and forklift drivers, handling freight, entering inventory transactions, and maintaining frequent communication with customers.

Responsibilities

+ Coordinate shipments to and from the warehouse to meet key customer delivery requirements.

+ Generate documents for customer shipments such as pick sheets, packing lists, and bills of lading.

+ Receive inbound freight, verify contents, and reconcile product received with packing list information.

+ Create and apply labels to properly identify parts per customer specifications.

+ Communicate with customers and carriers about transporting orders and receipts, including greeting drivers and managing loading/unloading instructions.

+ Promptly address problems associated with outbound shipments and inbound receipts, including product availability, damage, inventory discrepancies, and carrier issues.

+ Enter inventory transactions into the warehouse management system (WMS) or customer-specific data systems, maintaining inventory accuracy.

+ Communicate with warehouse operations to ensure proper scheduling of activities including freight, physical inventories, cycle counts, and special customer requests/projects.

Work Environment

This is an onsite role, operating Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The workplace is a family-oriented, small office environment where you will work closely with co-workers and regular customers, fostering strong relationships. Employees enjoy regular grill outs and other team activities. Benefits include a 401K match, medical, dental, and vision coverage, eligible from the first of the month after permanent employment. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Muscatine, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
