             Job Title: Supply Chain AssociateJob Description As a Material Planner, you will play a crucial role in managing the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process and planning for every part that is made or bought. You will act as the quarterback of a large team, ensuring smooth operations and supply chain management. Your interactions will span across Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and Finance to manage production schedules, supplier lead times, inventory levels, and engineering build timelines. Responsibilities + Manage demand, supply, and fulfillment planning within the MRP system. + Ensure Bill of Materials, parts, and master data are maintained within the ERP system. + Release purchase planning messages to Procurement in a timely manner. + Release work orders to Production promptly. + Update demand to accommodate Engineering Change Orders and communicate changes to Procurement. + Create visibility of material positions through line of balance reports, material shortage reports, clear to build reports, etc. + Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment to achieve company-wide goals. + Perform additional duties as requested by management relevant to your role. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or related fields. + 3+ years of experience as a Material Planner, Production Planner, or equivalent. + Proficiency in material line of balance production and conducting clear to build reviews. + Strong knowledge of Material Planning fundamentals, including master data management, order policy, BOM management, and planning release in MRP systems. + Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and data analytics. + Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. + Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. + Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 1-2 years of experience in Material Planning or Production Planning. + Interest in space as a motivating factor. + Technical degree with a background in data science. + Data-savvy with strong communication skills. Work Environment This position is based onsite at our headquarters in Long Beach, within the EDC building. You will be working in a dynamic and collaborative environment that fosters teamwork and innovation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of NA, California. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
