Desktop Support Technician

Overview:

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our Field Services team, providing on-site technical support to end users across various departments. This role requires hands-on experience with desktop support in a Windows-based environment, strong troubleshooting abilities, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, applications, and peripherals.

+ Perform hardware repairs and replacements as needed.

+ Provide responsive support for password resets, account access, and basic network connectivity.

+ Document support activities and escalate unresolved issues appropriately.

+ Interact directly with end users to deliver clear, courteous, and effective technical assistance.

Required Skills:

+ Proficiency in Windows 11 and basic network troubleshooting.

+ Experience with desktop deployment and imaging.

+ Strong customer service and communication skills.

+ Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

+ Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience supporting Office applications and mobile devices.

+ Knowledge of Active Directory and user account management.

+ Understanding of LAN/WAN environments and printer support.

+ Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.

+ Candidates with IT education or certifications are encouraged to apply.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
