As a Senior Specialist in Membership Engagement, you will support the development and execution of strategic initiatives that enhance the experience and value of our most engaged member segments. This role blends data-driven strategy with hands-on execution, focusing on campaign development, lifecycle marketing, and cross-functional collaboration to drive member retention, loyalty, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Support the execution of targeted engagement strategies that drive cobrand credit card sales in partnership with internal teams and external partners.
+ Analyze member behavior and performance metrics (e.g., sales per member, frequency, tenure) to identify opportunities for growth within high-value and at-risk segments.
+ Write creative briefs, develop test designs, forecast campaign budgets, and coordinate with channel partners to deploy personalized, cross-channel (e.g. print, email, site, push) marketing tactics.
+ Drive the new club offer and communication strategy, partnering with the New Club Success Team to drive digital engagement and impactful Grand Opening experiences.
+ Contribute to the implementation of innovative engagement tactics such as gamification, rewards optimization, and behavior-based messaging to foster loyalty
+ Coordinate existing and assist in the development of new lifecycle marketing initiatives, including onboarding, reactivation, and win-back campaigns that increase member lifetime value.
+ Partner with cross-functional teams including Creative, Marketing, Data Science, Finance, Field Operations, and Product Teams to ensure alignment and tactical execution.
+ Manage project timelines, deliverables, and performance tracking to ensure successful campaign execution and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
+ 4–6 years of experience in loyalty marketing, customer engagement, or campaign execution, preferably in retail, financial services, or subscription-based businesses.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting behavioral data and campaign performance metrics.
+ Hands-on experience with digital marketing platforms and lifecycle campaign management.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively across teams.
+ Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $76,000.00 - $98,500.00.
This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.
