Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is the team behind one of the World’s largest Cloud Infrastructures, responsible for powering all Microsoft online Products and Services as well as powering Microsoft’s “Cloud First” mission. Our focus is on smart growth, high efficiency, and delivering a trusted experience to customers and partners worldwide, and we are looking for **Business Manager** in our Executive Office to help achieve our mission.
Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a Business Manager you will lead people-focused programs in our datacenter workforce while partnering with leadership, Employee Network Group's, and Human Resources to drive continuous improvement. This role also manages budget planning, headcount, and financial tracking to align resources with priorities and ensure operational excellence. Responsibilities
+ Drive the rhythm of business for leadership team members across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment to the corporate framework and increasing program visibility through leadership forums.
+ Partner with the Leadership Team, Chief of Staff, and business partners to identify priorities and leverage people programs—such as learning, morale events, and communications—to achieve desired outcomes.
+ Act as a strategist and thought partner to Employee Network Groups (ENGs), supporting events, OKR development, and cross-organizational connectivity.
+ Monitor and analyze employee sentiment through surveys and listening systems, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
+ Manage, execute, and scale people programs within Datacenter Operations, leveraging proven frameworks while addressing localized needs.
+ Provide oversight for budget planning, headcount, and financial tracking, aligning resources with strategic priorities to streamline operations and ensure predictable execution.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 4+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR equivalent experience.
+ 4+ years of business and change management experience, or relevant experience developing, delivering, promoting, critically assessing, and continually improving programs for a large organization.
+ 2+ years of experience managing programs/initiatives and driving change management.
Other Requirements:
_Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:_
+ **Microsoft Cloud Background Check** : This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in leading and managing global virtual teams and programs.
+ Excellent project management, communications and organizational skills as well as attention to detail, with a track record of getting things done through cross-functional partnerships.
+ Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to develop, co-create and deliver presentations, training sessions, and workshops with senior leaders and partners.
+ Experience working with employee resource groups and manager communities.
+ 2+ years in datacenter operations domain experience preferred.
