Responsibilities
+ Design and develop software features for cloud-hosted Windows experiences, including virtualization and remote desktop solutions.
+ Build and maintain distributed systems, application programming interfaces (APIs), and services that enable secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.
+ Collaborate with product managers (PM), designers, and partner teams to deliver modern management, personalization, and supportability features.
+ Use telemetry, analytics, and experimentation to improve product reliability, performance, and user experience.
+ Participate in incident response, release readiness, and supportability workflows.
+ Contribute to innovation initiatives and continuous improvement across the organization.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline,
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ Proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
+ OR Master's Degree (or currently pursuing a degree) in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
+ Experience with operating systems, cloud services (such as Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP)), and distributed systems.
+ Familiarity with Windows software development kits (SDKs), Windows Application SDK (WinAppSDK), Windows UI Library (WinUI), or Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
+ Knowledge of observability, reliability engineering, and supportability practices.
+ Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional projects.
Software Engineering IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $84,200 - $165,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $109,000 - $180,400 per year.
