             Microsoft Advertising is scaling its Gaming advertising business and is seeking a passionate, innovative, and broad-thinking **Senior Account Executive** to work on approaching agency teams and helping take our media offering to the next level. This is an opportunity for you to share our story in the market and build relationships within the NYC advertising agency holding company landscape. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive with previous experience working within Media and/or Ad Technology, generating demand for Digital Media Sales. Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50-mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction. Responsibilities + Cultivate and build relationships with strategic investment partners at agency holding companies and clients. + Oversee several existing high-value partnerships with support from sales management. + Ensure mutual success between customer and Microsoft Advertising, while maximizing the potential from the relationship. + Manage business and technical escalations and continually communicate requirements to all stakeholders, internal and external. Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 8+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising OR Master's Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 5+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising OR 9+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising OR equivalent experience. + Experience in online media, digital advertising, or Search Engine Marketing Sales and Service experience. Additional or preferred qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 12+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising OR Master's Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 10+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising OR equivalent experience. + Minimum 5 years media experience in an ad agency partnership or direct media sales capacity. + Working knowledge of programmatic execution and understanding of technology e.g.. SSP management, video/mobile media products, audience targeting and the programmatic landscape. + Solid analytical and organizational skills with experience working through cross-functional teams. + Experience making recommendations to mid- to senior- level executives. Advertising Account Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $107,600 - $187,500 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,600 - $205,600 per year.
