Join the Trust and Integrity Protection (TrIP) team— ensuring the right stakeholders across Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) know what risk and compliance actions to take. As a Business Engagement Lead, you’ll be a trusted advisor who translates business signals into strategic compliance actions—driving accountability, enabling readiness, and embedding a culture of compliance-by-design across MCAPS. The Business Engagement Lead within TrIP is responsible for proactively partnering with business units across MCAPS to identify early signals of compliance risk, translate business insights into actionable compliance strategies, and foster a culture of compliance-by-design. This role is pivotal in embedding accountability and reinforcing first-line ownership of risk across the organization. Responsibilities + Business Signal MonitoringMonitor business activity across MCAPS to identify early indicators that may trigger compliance requirements, including regulatory, contractual, or internal policy obligations. + Risk Translation & ReadinessTranslate business insights into compliance actions by surfacing risks and readiness needs early. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely mitigation strategies are in place. + Community Engagement & ScalingBuild and scale engagement across compliance communities, including champions, regional controls teams, and embedded business unit leads. Drive alignment and consistency in compliance messaging and practices. + Strategic CommunicationPartner with business units to land key communications and messaging that reinforce compliance expectations and promote a shared understanding of responsibilities. + Culture & AccountabilityCoordinate a culture of compliance by promoting tone at all levels, embedding accountability into operational rhythms, and supporting leadership in modeling compliant behavior. + Trusted PartnershipsFoster trusted relationships with business stakeholders to support compliance-by-design and reinforce first-line ownership of risk. Act as a connector between business and compliance functions. Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement + OR equivalent experience. Additional or preferred qualifications + Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 8+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 12+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement + OR equivalent experience. Business Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
