Nevada County Behavioral Health is seeking experienced candidates for the position of Administrative Analyst II to assist with various critical initiative. Our ideal candidate is independent with initiative, and has strong interpersonal and leadership skills. We seek someone who will confidently provide strategic insights and recommendations, have analytical Excel and writing skills, and be able to support key projects, assisting in moving them forward with minimal direction.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
+ Supporting the department with the implementation and administration of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) System, including developing strong working knowledge of this system and being able to problem-solve issues, and support staff in their utilization of the system.
+ Producing reports on department operations including pulling data from the EHR, and compiling and analyzing data from other sources to support department operations.
+ Conducting research and providing input on new or existing programs to support the department in providing high quality services
+ Assisting with department contracts by supporting contract managers through the contracting process. This may include writing staff letters/resolutions, tracking contract approvals, and helping with outcome monitoring.
+ Supporting grant writing and administration including high-level fiscal tracking, communications with grantors, evaluation and reporting.
Analyst II is a journey-level position where individuals operate with less direct supervision providing technical assistance with the same types of assistance and analysis. The Analyst II has supervisory responsibilities and is expected to perform the full range of duties and responsibilities associated with supervision of team members.

Retirement
The County is a member of the CalPERS retirement system and also provides the opportunity for voluntary contributions to a 457 deferred compensation account through Nationwide by way of pre-tax and Roth payroll deductions.
