             Continuous Improvement Engineer – Manufacturing Industry: Industrial Manufacturing / Energy / HVAC / Data Centers Employment Type: Full-Time About the Opportunity System One is seeking a proactive and results-driven Continuous Improvement Engineer to support a leading manufacturer of industrial thermal solutions. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive on solving problems, optimizing processes, and driving operational excellence across manufacturing environments. As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you’ll lead initiatives that reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality—while collaborating across departments to implement sustainable improvements. Key Responsibilities + Lead and support continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies. + Facilitate problem-solving sessions and coach teams on process improvement tools. + Conduct audits, analyze data, and address nonconformities to drive proactive process control. + Implement and monitor Lean practices such as Kaizen events, 5S, and visual management systems. + Collaborate with production teams to identify bottlenecks and streamline workflows. + Develop and document standard operating procedures and ensure compliance through post-implementation audits. + Recommend new policies and procedures to improve product quality and operational efficiency. + Support safety initiatives and ensure CI projects align with safety goals. + Create training materials and deliver workshops to promote CI culture across departments. + Supervise 1–4 exempt employees and coordinate activities within the Assembly department. Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field. + 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. + Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other CI tools. + Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. + Ability to interpret complex technical documents and present findings to leadership. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools. + Ability to work on-site with regular attendance and punctuality. + Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Physical Requirements + Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs. + Visual acuity for close and distance work, color recognition, and depth perception.
