This is a critical role that requires thought leadership, strong analytical/systems skills, and ability to collaborate with and influence across the organization. A key aspect of the position is partnering with the BU teams to standardize processes and implement best practices across AFNA. Reporting directly to our Sr. Director of Commercial Finance & Pricing, this position is a key member of the AFNA Commercial Finance team. Principal Accountabilities Sales Operations + Support AFNA monthly/quarterly reporting and analysis + Raw material and inflation pass through impacts + Volume movements + Net sales and EBIT bridge commercial drivers + Lead GKA and Central Sales & Marketing reporting and planning + Monthly forecast and Annual Operating Plan + Performance vs Forecast, Plan and Prior Year, including risk/opportunities assessments and development of Outperformance plans + Central Sales & Marketing QBR + Manage Central Sales & Marketing SG&A cost centers Account Management and Planning (for GKAs and certain large customers) + Support Commercial Development’s bid submissions / contract renewals with financial modeling and scenario analysis + Proactively monitor performance against contract terms (growth delivery timing, rebate conditions, etc.) + Partner with Commercial Development and BU teams to ensure an effective and consistent AFNA deal review framework + Support capex ROI assessments for growth investments Insights and Analysis + Lead by providing clarity for decision making based on unbiased deep dives of complex commercial/financial questions + Support key initiatives to advance business intelligence, capabilities, processes, insights, etc. + Partner with other Commercial functions (Pricing, Commercial Insights & Strategy, Commercial Excellence, etc.) and BU teams to introduce new lead / lag indicators that measure and help to drive our profitable growth + Focus issues for select customers e.g. cost transparency, benchmarking + Advance and support GKA team with actionable data and analysis Talent Management / Continuous Improvement + Partner with functions and BU teams to implement best practices across AFNA + Assist in the development and tracking of improvement initiatives in the above areas + Responsible for managing and improving performance, development and engagement of direct employees Relationships: Internal BU and Central Finance (FP&A, Commercial Finance, Operations Finance, Accounting, etc.) BU Marketing & Sales Commercial Development Global Commercial Finance and GKA Demand Planning Information Technology and Commercial Systems Procurement Central Sales & Marketing team: Commercial Excellence, Marketing Communications, etc. Sales team: GKAs and certain large customers AFNA VP of Sales & Marketing What We Value + Collaboration and Influencing: Works well with others who do not work for you; works as a team to have a positive impact on business performance; not intimidated to address process/performance gaps in People, Process, and Tools (systems, leadership, and personnel). + Analytical Orientation: Focused on the improvement of business results through analyzing data. + Collaborate and Influence, Team Leadership, Change Leadership, Strategic Orientation + Comfort with ambiguity + Global interaction and cultural awareness + Creative thinking and organizational navigation + Ability to develop and refine processes / systems / tools What We Value + Exceptional analytical skills (linking results to drivers) + Business partnership experience + Ability to set priorities and drive business decisions and execution + Ability to understand business activities with a broader view beyond finance + Customer Centric mindset + Demonstrated leadership, influencing and people engagement skills + Direct communication with clarity at all levels + Business Acumen + Emotional Intelligence What We Want from You + University degree in a relevant field. MBA preferred. + 10+ years of progressive experience in finance or adjacent roles in a complex industry (ideally food/healthcare packaging) + Experience working in an international company + Effective participation in multi-functional work projects and cross-functional teams in an international environment + Demonstrated capability to develop team skills and capabilities with sustained process improvements over time. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions + Regular attendance. + Frequent interaction and communication with others. + Ability to sit for extended periods of time. + Abiltiy to work on a computer majority of time. + Ability to travel domestically: limited (<10% of time) + Office environment.
