Credit Supervisor

The Credit Supervisor is responsible for overseeing Lineage’s credit operations across North America, ensuring sound credit decisions, minimizing financial risk, and supporting revenue growth. This role manages a team of credit analysts or specialists, enforces credit policies, and collaborates with internal departments to maintain customer satisfaction and financial integrity.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
+ Supervise daily credit operations, including credit reviews, approvals, and account setups.
+ Monitor and manage credit limits, terms, and risk exposure for North American customers.
+ Lead and mentor a team of credit professionals, providing guidance and performance feedback.
+ Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and external regulations (e.g., UCC, FCRA).
+ Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Finance to resolve credit-related issues and disputes.
+ Partner with the Collections Team to limit financial risk.
+ Serve as a liaison between Data Management, Revenue Management, and Collection teams to ensure the integrity and ongoing maintenance of customer hierarchy structure.
+ Drive the alignment of global best practices across Lineage’s Credit teams by standardizing processes and policies.
+ Analyze financial statements, payment history, and market conditions to assess creditworthiness.
+ Recommend credit holds, escalations, or collection actions when necessary.
+ Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on credit performance and risk metrics.
+ Support audits and internal controls related to credit management.
+ Drive continuous improvement in credit processes and systems.
QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
+ 3–5 years of experience in credit management, with supervisory experience preferred.
+ Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial statements.
+ Familiarity with North American credit laws and commercial practices.
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
+ Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
+ Proficiency in Salesforce, Workday, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to function well in a high-paced environment with minimal supervision.
