GE Appliances’ National Account Sales Manager, Air & Water Solutions Hospitality is responsible for managing a territory of distributors and direct customers in the Air & Water Solutions’ Hospitality segment. Responsibilities with these large, complex customers include the coordination of program and operational requirements, expansion into new product categories, sales/growth initiatives and general customer support requirements. The candidate will manage all aspects of the customer experience, increase sales to achieve targets, and demonstrate superior teamwork with inside sales managers and other GE Appliance team members. Position located in the South Central or Southwest regions of the United States with convenient access to a major airport for business related travel. Position Principal National Account Manager- Air & Water Solutions Sales Location USA, Austin, TXUSA, Las Vegas, NV, USA, Phoenix, AZ How You'll Create Possibilities + Lead portfolio strategy and expansion across Air & Water product categories, identifying opportunities for innovation and new market penetration. + Lead the development and execution of national strategic plans for the Hospitality segment, aligning with business unit goals and driving long-term growth across multiple regions + Execute and achieve all sales and margin operating plans + Sell all applicable GE Appliances Air & Water products to assigned Hospitality accounts + Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow sales to assigned Hospitality accounts + Own and drive revenue, margin, and market share growth for the Hospitality segment, with accountability for delivering against national performance targets + Develop customer sales initiatives, programs and/or logistics strategies to drive profitable sales growth + Develop and grow a pipeline of leads + Provide project quotes when necessary to ensure winning business + Negotiate pricing and terms & conditions for new customer agreements and Purchase Orders + Prepare and deliver training, and/or coordinate any relevant product presentations that drive the GE Appliances value story + Track and be accountable for sales metrics with reporting and analysis tools + Resolving customer issues in a timely and accurate manner, establishing credibility with internal and external customers + Effectively collaborate and work with the Inside Sales and cross functional teams + Travel required (50%) What You'll Bring to Our Team Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience + Seven (7) years’ sales experience + Effective communicator, both written & verbal + Demonstrated effective negotiation and organizational skills + A natural team player with a collaborative style + Solutions oriented + Ability to travel 50% Preferred Qualifications: + Previous industry sales experience, with focus on distributor and direct hospitality customers; or relevant transferable skills from similar industries or national account type duties + Previous experience with PTAC/ VTAC and/or kitchen appliances sold to distributors and/ or direct in the hospitality segment + Experience in developing and implementing complex sales initiatives and program plans + Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers, management, and peers.
