    POSITION SUMMARY

    As a Welding Quality Inspector, you play a crucial role in ensuring our playgrounds are built with safety and durability in mind. You’ll inspect and evaluate welds for defects, verify compliance with specifications, and uphold strict quality standards. With a strong understanding of welding processes and sharp attention to detail, you help create reliable play spaces where kids can explore with confidence.

     

    Hours: M-F 5am-1pm

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Checks every part to verify part number with the label

    + Checks every part for physical defect

    + Identifies defective parts requiring rework

    + Verifies correct quantities per work order

    + Interpret weld blueprints

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

    + Previous experience as a welder or weld inspector OR non-destructive testing certification/BA required

    + Basic computer knowledge

    + Ability to read weld blueprints

    + High School Diploma or GED preferred

     

    The target hourly range is $19.00 - $22.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. Expanded pay ranges may be available for growth and advancement opportunities. In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
