About the role

Our practice is seeking a highly qualified **Senior Mobile Developer iOS or Android (Hybrid)** with experience in developing and building impactful, scalable, enterprise applications. Our Developers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users.

Our developers are agile and retrospective, and not afraid to identify what we’re doing wrong, so we can fix it, so we can improve on it. Above all, we judge success by the success of our team and the happiness of our customers.

Work model:

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Mountain View, CA. Key Responsibilities & Required Qualifications:

• 8 to 12 Years of experience

• Design and implement mobile applications for Android or iOS platforms ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features that enhance user experience.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

• Utilize your expertise in Mobile UI Design to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.

• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality and performance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure smooth application operation.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development processes.

• Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Ensure that all development activities align with the company’s Product Lifecycle Management strategies.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability to meet user demands.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster a collaborative learning environment.

• Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development tools and methodologies. Qualifications

• Possess a strong background in Mobile Development for both Android or iOS platforms.

• Demonstrate expertise in Mobile UI Design with a focus on creating user-friendly interfaces.

• Have experience in Product Lifecycle Management to align development with business objectives.

• Show proficiency in integrating third-party APIs and services into mobile applications.

• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Be familiar with agile development methodologies and practices.

• Have excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until November 29, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $ 86,000 – $ 141500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
