• Software Engineer

    ManTech (Belcamp, MD)


    MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Software Engineer** to join our team at our **Belcamp, MD Location.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    + Collaborate with management, departments, and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications, driving software development that meets real-world needs.

    + Design algorithms and flowcharts to create innovative software programs and systems, contributing to technological advancement and problem-solving.

    + Produce efficient and elegant code based on requirements, ensuring software quality, performance, and maintainability.

    + Test, deploy, troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve existing software, driving continuous improvement and user satisfaction.

    + Develop technical documentation to guide future software development projects, facilitating knowledge sharing and efficient team workflows.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.

    + 5 years of position-relevant work experience.

    + DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II certification.

    + Experience with C, C#, C++, SQL, or Java programming languages.

    + Experience with Jira, Confluence, and GIT tools for software development and project management.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 4 years of experience in DoD Systems development.

    + DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level III certification.

    Clearance Requirements:

    + Required TS/SCI Eligible.

    Physical Requirements:

    + The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
