About the role
We are seeking a seasoned .NET Developer to join our dynamic engineering team in either Atlanta or Raleigh. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building scalable, high-performance applications and driving technical excellence across teams. You’ll play a key role in designing and implementing enterprise-grade solutions while mentoring others and shaping development processes.
In this role, you will:
• Design and develop robust, scalable applications using .NET technologies (MVC and .NET Core preferred)
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, and release engineering
• Work hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), and modern UI frameworks such as React or Angular
• Guide and mentor team members through technical challenges and impediments
• Establish and promote best practices for unit testing, code reviews, build setup, and configuration management

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring in-person presence several days a week in a client or Cognizant office located in Atlanta, GA or Raleigh, NC.

What you need to have to be considered
• 8+ years of experience in .NET Core, MVC, and greenfield development of .NET applications
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and either React or Angular
• Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or Jenkins
• Proven track record in enterprise CI/CD implementation, configuration management, and build automation

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $55,350 to $82,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
