Are you passionateabout community health and disease prevention? Amergis Healthcare Staffing isseeking a dedicated Public Health Nurse tohelp lead and coordinate our Communicable Disease and Tuberculosis programs.This vital role focuses on education, prevention, and treatment efforts thathelp protect and improve the health of our residents.
What You’ll Do
In this PHN role,you will:
+ Coordinate services related to communicable disease control, including tuberculosis.
+ Promote public health through education, awareness campaigns, and prevention strategies.
+ Provide clinical support and backup services for STD and adult health clinics.
+ Collaborate with community partners and healthcare providers to ensure effective disease management and outreach.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking anurse with:
+ Strong knowledge of public health nursing practices, principles, and techniques.
+ Familiarity with community resources and the ability to coordinate services effectively.
+ Excellent judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to lead, supervise, and work collaboratively with others.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
+ At least one year of professional nursing experience.
+ Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
