             The Senior Assistant, Transformational Gifts & Strategic Initiatives (TGSI) is a unique position that works closely with the Vice President, Transformational Gifts & Strategic Initiatives who manages a robust portfolio of our highest-level donors and potential supporters to raise philanthropic funds in support of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s research and patient care mission. The TGSI team cultivates relationships with donors at the highest giving capacity, and is assigned to identify, engage, and solicit support from ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) prospects and donors with gift capacity of $10 million+. The team is focused on securing funds to support pan-institutional priorities as identified by executive leadership of the Institute. This role includes data entry, drafting and managing correspondence, managing calendars, processing gifts, making travel arrangements and appointments, and provides event support as appropriate, in addition to other administrative duties as assigned. The ability to multitask with a high degree of attention to detail is required. Responsible for assisting the entire Division with reaching financial goals. _Internal Title: Senior Assistant, Individual Giving_ This position is considered hybrid, 2-3 days in the office at 10 Brookline Place, Brookline, MA each week. DFCI guidelines state that employees must reside in the Institute supported states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Vermont. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: Resume and cover letter required with application submission. + Data entry, calendar management, preparing/processing gift transmittals. + Review and proofreading of donor correspondence. + Manage and record activity of tasks and assignments for weekly review. + Timely response to internal and external inquiries. + Maintain highest degree of confidentiality and exercise good judgement with sensitive information. This is a unique position that requires interface with the Office of the Senior Vice President (OSVP) and President & CEO. + Reconcile expenses and manage expense reimbursement. + Organize and book travel as needed, including compiling agendas and supporting materials, and manage next steps. + Other tasks as appropriate to the position. High school diploma or equivalency required. Associates/Bachelors degree preferred. 1 year administrative work experience required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: + Excellent written and verbal communications skills with a strong orientation to customer service and attention to detail. + Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a variety of projects and multitask in a fast-paced organization. + Self-starting attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team and work with a variety of personalities. + Strong computer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook). Pay Transparency Statement The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and qualifications.
