    Special Education Teacher | $40–$48/hr | Early Elementary | Wauwatosa, WI | 2025–2026 School Year | 37.5 hrs/week

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support early elementary students in the Wauwatosa area, just west of Milwaukee. This full-time, in-person position begins as soon as November 10, 2025, and runs through the end of the school year.

    Position Details

    + Location: Wauwatosa, WI

    + Start Date: ASAP (Estimated: November 10, 2025)

    + End Date: End of school year

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday (exact hours TBD)

    + Hours: 37.5/week

    + Modality: In-person

    + Grade Levels: PreK–1

    + Caseload: 8–10 students with learning and behavioral disabilities

    + Pay Rate: $40–$48/hr (based on experience)

    + Interview Format: Virtual or in-person

    Requirements

    + Valid Wisconsin DPI Cross-Categorical license

    + Strong experience leading special education students

    + Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
