    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support a Mild/Moderate SDC classroom for kindergarten and first grade students in Chula Vista, CA. This full-time, in-person position begins November 17, 2025, and runs through June 5, 2026.

    Position Details

    + Location: Chula Vista, CA

    + Start Date: November 17, 2025

    + End Date: June 5, 2026

    + Duration: 30 weeks

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM–3:10 PM

    + Hours: 35/week

    + Pay Rate: $70/hr

    + Travel Weekly Pay: $2,730 (if applicable)

    + Classroom Type: Mild/Moderate SDC

    + Grade Level: K–1

    + Modality: In-person

    + Openings: 1

    Requirements

    + Valid California Moderate/Moderate (MM) Credential

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

    + Minimum one year of teaching experience (preferred)

    + Experience teaching younger grades strongly preferred

    + Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred

    + Current CPR, TB/PPD clearance, and health certificate if applicable

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
