    Description and Requirements

     

    About Us

     

    In Lenovo SSG Information Technology we are a team of 30 globally who focus on SAP and commercial suite software operation, maintenance, and support. This position is remote and will have EST working hours. There may be quarterly travel to our second global HQ in Morrisville, NC.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Daily operation and maintenance of SAP systems, process management, and queue management

    + Support product development and optimization: installation, configuration, upgrades, patches

    + Resolve bottlenecks and identify issues with data from monitoring tools, SQL queries, memory allocation and storage configuration

    + Deliver usable operation and maintenance reports with BASIS

    + Support initiatives between Business Units and IT, coordinating work between applications

    + Support high-availability for SAP between maintenance and disaster recovery

    + Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance and resolution

    + Manage HANA system permissions and transport requests

    + Provide routine maintenance and troubleshooting support

    Basic Qualifications

    + 3+ years of Experience working with SAP Basis, HANA, or ECC

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or relevant areas required

    Preferred Qualifications

    + SAP Enterprise Operations Experience with SAP Basis, S/4 HANA, and ECC

    + 5 years of Experience with SAP modules: CRM, PO, DS, BO, BW, SLT, SLM

    + Strong understanding of SAP S/4 HANA architecture in-memory database

    + Expertise with migration, configuration, data archiving, system copy, permission allocation with SAP

    + Familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for HANA

    + Outstanding cross-functional collaboration skills; able to align and communicate complex situations to technical and non-technical users

    + Ability to manage and maintain Linux and Window OS

    + Ability to diagnose issues and resolve performance lags for HANA databases

    + Cultural Competency working across Chinese, American, Desi, European, and South American Desi cultural contexts, ensuring messages are communicated with clarity and tact

    + Experience managing and communicating expectations

    + Strong relationship-building skills

    + Demonstrated use of discretion when handling confidential details or sensitive topics

    + Technofunctional implementation experience is a plus

    + Bilingual proficiency in both Mandarin & English is a plus

     

    The base salary budgeted range for this position is $84-105k. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. This position is remote and will have EST working hours. There may be quarterly travel to our second global HQ in Morrisville, NC.
