Are you an experienced financial administrator and collaborative leader who’s skilled in federal and state grant administration? As our new Grant Manager , you will be the authority on governance of all components of the grant process, including financial oversight and reporting. You will ensure compliance with state fiscal rules, procedures, GASB, and 0MB Super Circular, filling a critical role in support of the OIT mission and important work for Coloradoans. Some of your important duties will include : + Develop and implement ad hoc reporting to identify grant revenue not received or recorded properly. + Track and reconcile all grant reporting, billing, draws, and revenue collections. + Create, implement, and evaluate training, policies, and procedures. + Responsible for the daily supervision of staff. + Actively engage in improving leadership skills, attitudes, and knowledge, especially as related to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Attend training, development, and group training on topics of inclusive leadership. Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and state seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. While most salary offers are made within the posted range, occasionally an offer is made below or above the posted range based upon this salary analysis. This is a skills-based job announcement. The required minimum qualifications and/or education (if substituting for the proven experience, knowledge, and skills), are as follows: Minimum Qualifications: + A minimum of four (4) years of experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position, including previous experience in managing and deploying federal funding from inception to completion. + Two (2) years of experience as a supervisor or manager of financial professionals. Substitutions: + Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications. + Training or Certification related to the work assigned to the position will be assigned credit towards substitution for experience and/or education, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications. Preferred Qualifications: + Grants, including federal management experience. + CORE system experience. + Understanding of Fiscal Rules, 2 CFR 200, and OMB. Conditions of Employment: OIT candidates and employees must comply with any screening procedures in place at state entity locations where they might be required to perform work. A pre-employment background check will be conducted as part of the selection process. Positions supporting some agencies such as the Department of Corrections and the Department of Public Safety will also require a pre-employment drug test. This position may require travel within the specified geographic area, and to locations across the state as needed. This position may require on-call duties as needed by the position.
