Description
Job Summary:
Inspects finished products, products being processed, incoming materials, parts, and assemblies, etc., for conformance to company standards.
Primary Job Functions:
+ Conduct QC inspections and audits on contract requirements, and other services performed.
+ Prepares reports, develops quality plans, attends meetings as directed; performs other duties as assigned.
+ Checks randomly selected samples and verifies accuracy of equipment or process.
+ Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations. Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
+ Schedule inspection activities.
Education, Experience and Certification:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Required: 2 years of experience with q** **uality control or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to understand technical and process-based aspects of the services we provide.
Required: OSHA Certification
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Knowledge of OSHA standards, NFPA, Joint Commissioning and safety procedures with skills in conducting accident investigations and safety inspections.
+ • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, critical thinking skills, and proficiency with standard testing tools.
+ • ISO Lead Auditor Certification with a thorough understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards
+ • Knowledge of recognized and generally accepted good engineering practice regulations and codes.
+ Excellent analytical and computer skills, specifically in MS Office Suite.
+ Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
+ Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
