As a Lead Maintenance Tech here at Honeywell, you will have the crucial role of leading a seamless operation and upkeep of our organization's physical manufacturing machinery. Your role encompasses both maintenance and engineering expertise, ensuring that machinery remain well-maintained, safe, and energy-efficient while optimizing operational processes. Your strategic planning, technology utilization, and attention to detail will not only enhance the longevity of our machinery assets but also minimize operational costs and environmental impact.
In this role, you will impact our manufacturing equipment and/or building systems and components by providing technical support and expertise. Your deep understanding of operating principles and processes will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing operations. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will directly impact the success of our business by ensuring that our machinery and equipment are operating at their best.
Key Responsibilities
• Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical components of machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose issues and identify parts for replacement; order parts as needed
• Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Follow detailed instructions and established procedures to complete tasks.
• Work independently or collaboratively as part of a maintenance team.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, including OSHA, NFPA, and LOTO/LTT protocols.
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance or a related field preferred
+ Strong knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the maintenance field.
+ Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
+ Experience with CNC Machinery operation, diagnostics and repair.
