    Position Summary

    We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Cloud Computing Architect with deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), DevSecOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Middleware. This role will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of secure, scalable cloud solutions across the enterprise. The ideal candidate brings over 20 years of IT experience, including recent hands-on work in cloud computing and architecture.

    Responsibilities

    + Architect and deploy secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure using AWS.

    + Lead cloud migration efforts, including re-platforming and re-architecting legacy systems.

    + Architect and implement cloud-native applications and infrastructure using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation.

    + Drive cloud migration initiatives, including re-platforming and re-architecting legacy systems.

    + Implement DevSecOps practices, integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud operations.

    + Design and manage infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring repeatable and auditable deployments.

    + Managing middleware (JBoss platform, RSSO and Jasper reports)

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud strategies and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

    + Ensure compliance with security, governance, and cost optimization best practices.

    + Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code and automation scripts.

    + Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and operations teams.

    + Stay current with AWS innovations and industry trends to continuously improve cloud capabilities.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

    + 10+ years of experience in IT, with 5+ years in cloud architecture and AWS.

    + AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional is plus.

    + Strong experience with DevSecOps tools and methodologies, including security scanning, policy enforcement, and automated compliance.

    + Proficiency in Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles.

    + Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).

    + Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and compliance frameworks.

    + Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
