    The UPMC Presbyterian Operating Room is hiring Full-Time Interventional Technologists to join our advanced surgical imaging team! In this exciting role, you'll work daylight shifts Monday-Friday (6:30am-5pm) with potential rotations to 8:30am-5pm or 8:30am-7pm.

     

    Call coverage is required weekdays from 5pm-6:30am, with 24-hour weekend and holiday call rotations beginning at 6:30am.

     

    You'll play a vital role in supporting cardiac and thoracic surgery teams performing cutting-edge procedures in the OR and cath lab, with occasional support to the larger hospital-based Interventional Radiology department.     What You'll Do

    + Perform interventional imaging procedures independently in the OR and cath lab with precision and professionalism.

    + Prepare patients, administer contrast, and ensure all safety and aseptic standards are followed throughout each procedure.

    + Review patient histories, assess physician orders, and document all details accurately in the electronic record.

    + Operate and maintain advanced imaging and monitoring equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic results.

    + Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, providing patient-centered care with respect, empathy, and teamwork.

    + Support additional hospital radiography needs when requested.

    + Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or an accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology. **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:**

    + ARRT Certificate OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

    + CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
