Job Description

Job Duties:

+ Under general supervision, operates company vehicles for the purpose of ensuring the delivery of quality customer service, world-class safety, and business segment efficiency.

+ Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities.

+ Operates company vehicles to move materials, tools, and equipment to and from work locations in support of internal and external customers.

+ Loads and unloads vehicles.

+ Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing PPE.

+ Performs other duties and activities as directed.

Qualifications:

+ Requires completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ Must have a current and valid Class A CDL (commercial driver's licenese) with clean motor vehicle record.

+ Must be able to and have experience driving a manual transmission.

+ Must have a satisfactory driver record with no DWI/DUI convictions in the past three years or any current DWI/DUI charges.

+ Driving experience on the Dalton Highway is highly preferred.

+ Winter driving experience is required.

+ Must be able to work a rotating schedule.

+ Able to pass background, physical and drug screen.

+ Able to lift up to 60lbs.

+ Able to pass background, physical and drug screen.

+ Maintains a strong focus on safety with adherence to all company and regulatory standards.

+ Able to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions.

+ Able to communicate effectively with others.

+ Basic reading comprehension and writing skills required.
