             Job Description • Bachelor's degree as a minimum. • Knowledge and experience with Workday is required. • Minimum of 5-8 years' experience as an HR Business Consultant/HR Business Partner/Senior Manager/HR Director or progressive professional experience in human resources including areas such complex employee relation, HRIS data management, recruitment, and employee engagement. • Must have workday experience (can do the terms, work within the dashboards, run reports, paper pushing, etc.) • Experience supporting commercial sales groups, and understanding the dynamic of a sales organization (how they are driven, how they work, incentive compensation, car allowance, writing PIPS and written warnings, etc.) • Strong HR business partner consulting skills and problem-solving skills; excellent decision making/analysis skills. • Strong work ethic with internal and external customer centric mindset. • Must have experience supporting an organization of 1000 people • Ability to handle complex employee situations • Ability to work in a matrix organization liaising with HR organization including all COE’s and business leaders to ensure desired goals are met. • Data driven mindset: leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive initiatives that contribute to the success of the business. • Awareness of US labor laws preferred. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Ability to build sustainable relationships with cross-functional teams. • A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the ''pulse'' of the employee to ensure a high level of employee engagement. • Thrives in a rapid and complex changing environment. Skills and Requirements We are looking to hire a remote contractor (CT or ET time zones) to supplement a current FTE leave of absence for approx. 2-3+ months. Previous experience should include the level of Senior HR Business Consultant/HR Business Partner/Senior HR Manager/HR Director supporting a matrix organization with 1,000+ employees and over 200 people managers in the U.S., with a small team of 10 in Canada. This person will split 1000 employees with the other HR Partner, so they will each be supporting 300-400 people. They will be operating as an HR business partner to the commercial sales group. In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting people managers in a mid-size company with the U.S. location in Houston, as well as the remote employees across the Commercial (Sales) Neuromodulation business unit and Innovation organization. We are looking for an experienced HR Professional who enjoys the broad scope of commercial and innovation functional HR support and one who understands all of the HR year-end activities in Q4 (performance revies, etc). Must have a good understanding of how to handle complex employee situations. Reporting to the Vice President, HR – Neuromodulation and Innovation who is located in Houston, this person must be confident in working in a matrix global organization while equally effective working independently with a hands-on approach, interfacing effectively with employees at all levels. We are looking for an excellent communicator with the HR acumen along with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to foster a positive culture. The functional scope of support for employees and managers would include but is not limited to the following teams: sales reps and managers, commercial marketing, upstream marketing, professional education, sales training, commercial operations, customer service and contracts, patient support and education, sales compensation, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, clinical research, quality, R&D, and operations.
