    Job Description

    A health insurance client is hiring for a Business Systems Analyst to join their Enterprise Automation & workflow team. This team is responsible for the design and delivery of automation technology across their business processes and systems. As the Business Systems Analyst, you are going to illicit requirements from business SMEs, document their current business processes into BRDs , then you will translate them into FRDs for the development team. The ideal candidate will have experience executing SDLC driven projects from planning through testing and deployment phases. We are looking for a technically driven, solutions oriented systems analyst that communicates process solutions, recommendations, and issues to management on a regular basis.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 7+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience on technology driven projects

     

    - 5+ years of experience in healthcare domain understanding Medical Management, Utilization management, Provider or claims systems

     

    - Strong experience using Visio

     

    - Expertise with Use Cases Diagrams and narratives for business requirements

     

    - Expertise creating functional requirements such as UML, Swim Lane diagrams, Data Flow (DFD) diagrams…etc.

     

    - 5+ years on process re-engineering and/or project management focus - Demonstrated use of BABOK’s Six Areas of Knowledge

     

    - Minimum Four-year degree in Information Systems
