    Job Description

    An employer in the Galleria area is looking for a Geoscience Business Analyst. This person will synthesize technical information from 70+ workshop inputs into their top 3 goals; communicate across technical teams and senior leadership; and bridge business strategy with technical capabilities. The BA will ork directly with the lead manager to help deliver a strategic roadmap for the Geoscience team. This will be a 5 year forward planning initiative that needs to be complete by end for January 2026. They will be onsite 3 days a week and this position pays between $80-$85/hr based on experience and skillset.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    7+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst

     

    Experience working in the Geoscience space gathering requirements, directing geoscience team initiatives, defining product specifications and requirements based on technology and industry trends, competitive knowledge, etc.

     

    Comprehensive experience in various data types, Wells Data, Geophysical Data, Petrophysical Data, etc.

     

    Experience managing and leading integration projects and change management initiatives/programs

     

    Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions Any certifications
