Job Description
An employer in the Houston, TX area is seeking a Sr. Payroll Coordinator to join their team. This team is responsible for the end-to-end payroll process for the enterprise organization. On a daily basis, this individual will ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll operations cross multiple states. This will include preparation, entry and auditing of records, processing while adhering to Federal, State, Local, and company policies and guidelines. It is important that this individual has a team-first mentality and willingness to work closely with various groups in the organization while providing excellent customer service. Additionally, this individual will act as a leader for the other team members by providing operational support and mentorship.
This is a permanent position paying between $80 - 95K annually

Skills and Requirements
5+ Years experience in a Payroll Coordinator role
Experience supporting an enterprise organization over 5,000 employees (independently running payroll for 1500-3000 employees)
Experience coordinating and processing payroll for multi-state, union & non-union employees
Strong experience working out of a payroll processing system such as UKG, ADP, Workday, Dayforce, etc.
Experience leading teams or in a mentorship role
CPP certification or interest in pursuing Experience with Dayforce
