    Job Description

    A family owned and operated employer in Lexington KY is looking for a permanent direct-hire Project Manager to join their growing team. This position is the main liaison between the A/E Team, subcontractors, and this construction company. They can expect to handle a variety of commercial projects at once ranging between 5k-20 million. This individual will provide leadership and administration to the construction project and ensure the project plans, objectives, and policies are met. Some duties of the job include:

     

    - Enforcing company and project policies

     

    - Manage the budget and financial reporting throughout the project

     

    - Client interface/interaction

     

    - Providing technical guidance to subordinate managers

     

    - Updating schedule/progress with managers, supervisors, and subcontractors

     

    - Maintain safety standards

     

    - Subcontractor coordination

     

    - Establishing company and project policies

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Construction Management or Engineering Degree

     

    - Experience managing projects in the Lexington/Kentucky market

     

    - 5-10 years' experience as Construction Project Manager handling Commercial Projects

    - Fundamental understanding of the following:

    • Managing schedule, deadlines, deliverables, budget, subcontractors, self-performed work, safety, etc.

    • Managing diverse projects ranging from 5K - 20 million

     

    Full Life cycle knowledge (estimating - completion) - Construction Management Degree

    - HH2
