    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Permit Technician to join a large engineering consulting firm in Bellflower, CA. This individual will be working directly with municipalities for support on over the counter work for permit application reviews, calculating permit fees, assisting with permit applications, filtering correct documentation to the delegated staff for plan reviews, etc. An ideal candidate will have experience working in a jurisdiction that has had large scale projects, as this role will be a high-volume position. This position will be working 9/80s Monday through Friday with every other Friday off.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -5+ years of Permit Technician experience

     

    - Experience with Collecting Fee's, Processing Applications, Issuing Permits, etc.

     

    -Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills and customer support

     

    -Experience processing/issuing permits for a large city and/or large scale projects

    -ICC Permit Technician Certification

    - Minimum of a H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
