Job Description

We are looking for a skilled IT Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will facilitate user story development and project estimates with the product owner and SMEs, conduct business process mapping using tools like Visio and Lucidchart, and create wireframes with Figma, Lucidchart or Balsamiq. They will ensure stories and acceptance criteria are well-defined and documented, using JIRA or Azure DevOps for backlog management. The candidate will refine stories every sprint, create burn-up charts, update timelines, and communicate delays. They will work with the Product Owner to prioritize stories, identify dependencies, and resolve issues quickly. The candidate will lead all scrum ceremonies, design and execute test cases, and write SQL to validate test results. The ideal candidate will have experience in business process mapping, wireframing, agile methodologies, and scrum ceremonies. Strong communication and collaboration skills, and experience in writing and executing test cases and SQL queries are essential. We are targeting an hourly rate of $50/hr.

Skills and Requirements

• Candidate must have 5+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst and has obtained a bachelor’s degree.

• The candidate must be proficient in backlog management using JIRA / ADO.

• In this role the candidate will be required to perform wireframing using Figma, Balsamiq, or Lucidchart

• Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Process Mapping, and Visio

• Proficiency/work experience with SQL.

Experience running scrum meetings.
