    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Machining) to join one of our leading suppliers of aluminum die castings for both automotive and non-automotive sectors in Ridgeville, SC.

     

    This role is critical to the manufacturing process, focusing on servicing and troubleshooting CNC machines. The technician will perform both preventative and reactive maintenance, including breakdown response, troubleshooting, downtime management, and repair activities across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

     

    The facility also utilizes robots and PLC systems, so experience with automation—particularly Fanuc controls, Siemens, and Allen Bradley drives and sensors—is a strong plus.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    1–5+ years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine geometry in an automotive CNC environment

     

    Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, mechanical assembly, and instrumentation concepts such as flow, level, pressure, and temperature

     

    Flexibility to work various shifts, irregular hours, and respond to emergency call-ins as needed
