Consulting Associate (Defense & Security Programs – Overseas Deployment)
Base of Recruitment: United States
Reports to: Project Lead / Program Director
Overview
Command Group — a Washington, DC–based national-security and consulting firm — is seeking mid to high level U.S. military veterans to join our team as Consulting Associates supporting a series of defense and security modernization programs across the Gulf region.
These programs help partner nations strengthen institutional capacity, improve readiness, and modernize defense organizations. Consulting Associates work as part of embedded teams alongside senior Command advisors, analysts, and regional experts — applying operational experience, analytical skill, and professionalism to deliver impact at the national level.
We are moving quickly to expand our in-country teams and are looking for individuals who are ready and able to travel in the immediate term. Assignments are based in safe, non-austere locations with five-star accommodations and modern infrastructure, providing a comfortable living and working environment throughout the engagement.
This is an outstanding opportunity for transitioning or recently separated military professionals to apply their experience in a strategic consulting setting overseas while continuing to contribute to global security and defense missions.

+ Work within diverse, multidisciplinary teams that include international consultants, local counterparts, and subject-matter experts.

+ Experience preparing structured, professional briefings or reports.
+ Prior exposure to joint, interagency, or coalition environments preferred.
+ Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
+ Must be willing to deploy full-time to the Gulf region in the near term with paid vacation and periodic remote work rotations back to the United States.
