**Schedule:** PRN

**Shift:** MON, Tues, Thursday from 1-5pm and some Fridays 8-12pm. ( Occasional float to Arden and other Office in Hendersonville)

**The role you'll contribute:** The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer uses Ultrasound to locate, evaluate and record anatomical, pathological and functional data to aid the physician in the diagnosis of disease and/or injury while maintaining the highest standard of patient care

Performs quality assurance on imaging equipment and report any issues promptly.

Other duties as assigned.

Performs ultrasound imaging exams on patients of all age groups, ensuring high-quality results.

Operates specific imaging equipment proficiently and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.

Educates and trains new technologists and students on imaging procedures and equipment use.

Monitors and manages daily workflow, including patient communication, transportation, and discharge.

Follows infection control standards and handles pharmaceutical waste according to training.

Qualifications

+ High School Grad or Equiv

+ Satisfactory completion of approved medical sonography program

+ 1 year of experience in a hospital or private practice environment Required

+ Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) Preferred
