AdventHealth Minneola's 80-bed hospital will bring inpatient care to the growing population of South Lake County. Spanning approximately 204,000 square feet, the hospital will include an emergency department; full-service imaging; five operating suites; endoscopy services; outpatient laboratory; heart catheterization labs; critical care and general medical/surgical rooms. The role you'll contribute: Responsible for performing cardiovascular ultrasound procedures on patients ranging from neonatal to gerontologic. This position assists physicians by selecting practical applications and technical factors for procedures. This role carries out all applicable processes of the department and assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures. In addition, this position teaches and directs the work of other staff and students as required. The value you'll bring to the team: + Performs, documents, and reports all procedures in accordance with departmental policy. + Adapts procedures to each patients medical situation, obtaining necessary information for proper interpretation. + Demonstrates knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology. Calculates information accurately. + Follows through with all details to ensure a smooth and timely flow of procedures. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **: + Graduate of a Cardiovascular Ultrasound Program + 2 experience in adult echocardiography, including transesophageal echocardiography and stress echocardiography. + Pediatric proficiency within 1 year of hire + Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) OR (CCI) + Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) OR Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) + Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
