The Technology & Operations Capability Development (T&O CD) Team Strategic Operations Leader works across the T&O CD team and partners with the broader T&O organization (Operations, Finance and key stakeholders in the business segments) to ensure that the T&O CD operating strategy aligns with the needs of the organization and that the financial plan compliantly, accurately, and transparently meets established targets. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost (SQDC) by establishing and managing operating rhythms, defining and tracking performance metrics, enabling analytics and fostering organizational alignment while also developing and executing an effective communications strategy with key stakeholders. The Strategic Operations Leader will champion continuous improvement by utilizing lean tools and methodologies and coaching the team on FLIGHT DECK fundamentals. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities + **Financial Planning …** In support of the T&O Capability Development Leader, builds and manages the financial plan, helps identify resource needs and advises on allocation in support of the strategy and outcomes of the team. + **Operating Rhythms** ... Establish and manage operating rhythms such as Monthly Operating Reviews (MOR), Weekly Operating Reviews (WOR), Daily Management (DM), and strategic offsites. Ensure these rhythms are effectively implemented, scaled and adhered to across the team. + **Performance Metrics** ... Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and process performance indicators (PPIs). Develop and maintain bowlers to visualize performance against targets and embed into operating cadences. Monitor and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive operational excellence. + **Organizational Alignment and Communication** ... Ensure alignment of KPIs and process measures across the organization. Communicate performance results and improvement initiatives to key stakeholders and drive engagement. + **FLIGHT DECK** ... provides coaching on problem solving methods, leadership of FLIGHT DECK fundamentals and establishment/promotion of lean culture. Ensures processes are formalized and documented through standard operating procedures, work instructions, and standard work templates as required. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the T&O Capability Development organization. Utilize lean tools and methodologies to drive operational excellence and enhance efficiency. + Influences functional and operations teams and/or projects with varied levels resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Leads teams to find creative solutions to address complex problems that impact the organization. Has ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. + Utilizes expertise and judgement to solve problems, leveraging skills and analytic thinking as required. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision. + Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view and gain buy-in across the organization. Influences peers for support and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers as required. Required Qualifications + Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college + Minimum of 10 years of experience in functional management, engineering & technology + Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on November 7th, 2025.
